The two-day HSBC Hong Kong Community Festival (Community Festival) will be held on 25 - 26 April 2026 at Central Market.
The flagship event of the HSBC Hong Kong Community Partnership Programme (the Programme), the HSBC Hong Kong Community Festival will bring together 21 community projects under the theme of 'Community Partners United'. It will showcase the stories and achievements behind these projects.
HSBC Charity Fund has allocated HK$18 million to support these projects, encouraging innovative ways to help disadvantaged groups build resilience.
Three Interactive Zones for Non-Stop Fun and Rewards
During the event, Central Market will be transformed into a vibrant space featuring interactive games, exhibition booths, performances and photo ops. Participants can gain deeper insights into the concepts and achievements of the community projects.
'Community Cheering Station' Injects Positive Energy into the Neighbourhood
The 'Community Cheering Station' in the Ground Floor Atrium will display customised trophies for the 21 community projects and feature a 4-metre-tall 'Energy Tree'. Citizens can scan the QR code to leave encouraging messages for the community partners.
'Community Phone Booth' with Celebrity Narrators to Guide You Through the Stories
Located on the 2nd Floor 24-hour pedestrian passage, the 'Community Phone Booth' allows visitors to listen to community stories narrated by celebrities Ms. Nancy Sit, Kunb (African Prince) and Aiden Tsang. Learn how the projects support youths, ethnic minorities, and seniors in the district.
Experience the Warmth and Creativity of Community Partners at Their Booths
The Community Festival features interactive booths by participating social welfare organisations, along with diverse performances, workshops, and seminars. Get to know the project teams and understand how they support disadvantaged groups and promote cross-generational integration in creative ways.
The two-day festival offers nearly 20 exciting activities, including reptile experiences, ethnic minority costume try-ons, and VR canoe experiences, suitable for families.
Participate in Activities to Redeem Limited Edition Lion Gifts and Carry Forward the Community Spirit
In addition to visiting booths, participants can obtain game cards from volunteers, complete simple tasks at Central Market, and receive a lion sticker. Collecting all four stickers enters you into a gachapon lucky draw for a chance to win limited edition souvenirs.
The HSBC Hong Kong Community Partnership Programme is organised by HSBC Charity Fund and Hong Kong Council of Social Service. The programme aims to promote social inclusion and address community needs through enhanced collaboration with local organisations. Since its launch in 2012, the programme has supported over 1,400 projects, benefiting more than 6 million people.
